Direct Referral to Formal Interview
STATUTUORY REFERENCE:
1405 (C) 27 …refer cases to the Board for a formal interview
CIRCUMSTANCES OF USE:
For the E.D. to refer cases directly to a formal interview on a future
Board meeting agenda,
the Investigative Staff (including the Medical Consultants
when the issue involves quality of care) concur that the cases move
to a formal interview, and
the Lead Board Member who is sent the case concurs with
the Investigative Staff.
Subsequent to referring cases to formal interview,
the E.D. shall report to the Board at each bimonthly
Board meeting a list of the individuals and the case numbers referred
to formal interview during the prior period. This list will appear
in the Executive Director's report.
