Ariz. - Governor Janet Napolitano has nominated Dona Pardo, R.N., Ph.D., of Tucson for a second, five-year term as a public member of the Arizona Medical Board. Dr. Pardo is a registered nurse and has a doctoral degree in higher education from the University of Arizona. Her reappointment requires state Senate confirmation during the next Legislative session.
The 12 members of the Arizona Medical Board are appointed by the governor. Eight are physicians, and four are public members. One of the four public members must be a registered nurse.
