Scottsdale, Ariz. -- This year, the Arizona Medical Board unveiled its biannual newsletter to its licensees - the first newsletter produced by the Board since 1997. The Arizona Medical Digest, previously known as BOMEX Basics, was re-introduced as a method of establishing a positive relationship with Arizona physicians while providing useful information. Each edition will focus on a key practice area while also informing physicians of common practice errors and important licensure responsibilities.

The first newsletter, published in January, was mailed to each licensed in-state physician. Newsletters with similar physician interest articles will be mailed to physicians on a biannual basis. Additionally, every other month, an Arizona Medical Digest Update will be posted on the Board’s website at http://www.azmdboard.org or directly at http://www.azmdboard.org/Medical_Digest/index.htm.
