MEDICAL BOARD FILLS REMAINING VACANCY |

Scottsdale,
Ariz. - Governor Hull recently filled the last remaining vacancy
on the Arizona Medical Board. Jay M. Crutchfield, M.D., a general surgeon
from Payson, Arizona will complete the Board’s 12-person membership
to eight allopathic physicians and four public members, including a licensed
registered nurse. “I am enthused by the Jay M. Crutchfield, MD, FACS, a native of Arizona, obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of the City University of New York, and completed his general surgical residency at the VA Hospital, in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Crutchfield, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also an active member of the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, the Arizona Medical Association, and the American Society of Parental and Enteral Nutrition. He has authored several surgical and technology related articles. He serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and holds a paralegal certificate from the University of Arizona’s Extended University. Dr. Crutchfield has practiced surgery in rural Arizona since 1996. |
