GOODBYE
BOMEX, HELLO AMB |
||
Scottsdale,
Arizona - For almost a century, the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners,
commonly known as BOMEX, licensed and disciplined Arizona physicians. Today,
the Board shed the name it held since 1903 and adopted a new name, Arizona
Medical Board, or AMB for short. “The new name brings to the forefront
the Board’s future direction and ambitions,” said Executive
Director Barry A. Cassidy, Ph.D., PA-C. “It is a symbol of the constant
changes the Board made over the last four years and the improvements it
will continue to make in the next century.”
