Docfinder: Finding a licensed healthcare practitioner in Arizona is easier than ever. “Docfinder” at http://docfinder.state.az.us, is the newly released website providing one-stop public access to important healthcare practitioner information. Unlike services offered by private companies, it is also free of charge. The site, developed by the Arizona Medical Board, contains licensee profiles for allopathic physicians (MDs), osteopathic physicians (DOs), dentists, optometrists, naturopathic physicians, and physician assistants. The former Arizona Board of Medical Examiners (BOMEX) is now known as the Arizona Medical Board (AMB). The former Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician Assistants is now known as the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants. Office and mailing addresses, phone numbers, etc. remain unchanged. Please note our new Internet domain name, azmdboard.org, which replaces bomex.org in our website and email addresses (old addresses also remain active, for your convenience during this transition).
